All CIS students are encouraged to be involved with the ACM. Your level of participation is up to you, but participation allows you to exercise your leadership skills, sharpen your communication skills, and develop your coordination and team building skills. These skills are vital for career development and professional growth. Joining is as simple as contacting an officer and attending meetings. The more students involved the better the organization can be. We always need new people with fresh, innovative ideas to help fuel the organization.
The ACM sponsors a number of fun events for its members and students each year. Some of the events in the past have been group dining, bowling and trips to interesting locations. Each semester new events are likely to be planned that offer a wide variety of activity for the ACM's diverse members and interested attendees.
Check back often for new ACM events and news. Thank you for visiting and please look around for more resources and information pertaining to the South Alabama Chapter of the ACM. |
